Gypsy, 'Working Lakeland', DOB 03.07 – Esher, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Gypsy needs a terrier family who'll guide her, negotiate with her, allow her to express her terrier ways and admire her occasional grumpy (ha ha) nature! Gypsy could live with another dog(s). Not for live-in children but supervised visiting children fine; who are trustworthy not to leave doors or gates open within secure premises.

Her Story: Gypsy lived with a young family who were slightly flummoxed by little Miss Terrier. A vet suggested she have a litter to settle her; never known to cure a terrier of terrier ways! She lived with one of her daughters. Last summer Gypsy was passed on to an elderly friend to keep him company but he couldn’t manage anymore due to depression. Gypsy was in temporary foster with 5 other dogs; (incl. 4 terriers) then moved to temp foster in Esher, Surrey with a bouncy Jack Russell.
Advert: Gypsy stands proud with her terrier ways, ready to dance and entertain by the campfire! She enjoys her walks and has lost weight as she came to us rather rotund! She meets dogs well, lived in with 5 other dogs, a few stand offs over her bed space that’s all! We RESPECT our terriers as little people; they are independent minded! Gypsy is a 'wanta be lap dog!' and takes house rules well. She needs persuasive management as she did take the upper-hand a little. She loves the car; in the passenger seat of course but can be a little vocal.
Gypsy is just 5 years old and is a 'Working' Lakeland i.e. a black & tan rough coated Fell Terrier. She has been indulged in human food and is now enjoying being a dog again in foster with all the fun and adventure that brings. She must have a family who can work with her, love the terrier that she is to her paw tips and the tip of her cute button nose!
