I hope this is OK to add on here.
Could you give Morris a new home?
Morris was found as a stray,in Newport. He was 5 months old. A red staffy cross, who looks very much like scooby do!
He was taken into foster care, in Whitchurch,Shropshire
An assessment has been done, for around a month.
Morris is great with other dogs,on and off lead. Being a pup,he just wants to play,so if you have other dogs,he would be best suited to younger dogs!
He has been living with 2 children, age 10 and 12, who he has been fine with. I wouldnt recommend any younger,as he is teething, and still chewing anything he can get his teeth into!
He is quick to learn, and knows ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ Hope rescue do require adopters to attend training classes,as he is just a pup!
We have worked hard on his house training, and he is almost there, with the odd accident, but we wont mention that!
He is crate trained over night, and when we need to go out,and is very good.No crying, and no mess.
Not tested with cats, but ones that we have seen on walks,he barks at,if they run.If a cat stands its ground,he doesnt bother with it.
my daughter has gerbils, which he doesnt bother with (except eating the food) I also have a parrot, who he doesnt care about
You will need a home check,a secure garden. (doesnt need to be a fantastic fence, but as long as its partitioned off,so he cant jump out eg;make shift mesh and canes,is all I have)
you will also need to visit Morris,in his foster home, with any family members and dogs living in your house hold.
He will be neutered, microchipped, flea’d, wormed and vaccinated.
