Petal, Tiny JRT, DOB 01.10 – Gatwick
Homing Requirements: Petal needs a home that 'gets' terriers. She can be reactive to dogs but given reassurance and time she settles. She needs a situation that gives her confidence in herself and not expecting it all to come from Petal. She will settle easily as an only dog or may even meld in with another placid dog where she can build trust and feel safe. Secure garden and terrier aware visitors i.e. exit management with no front doors left casually open!
Her Story: Petal was bouncing around through families. Her most recent acquirer didn't get terriers and took her to a pet shop and walked out disappearing. Petal was introduced to a large 'pack' house of 10 dogs, was petrified and ended up in kennels where we agreed to be there for her. Petal is now spayed, chipped, wormed and going through vax. process
Advert: Petal suits her well she is fragile; beautiful and the easiest dog to pick (up). She trust humans and is affectionate. She needs a calm routine to unpack her little suitcase into and call her own. She so needs stability and understanding. We have been delighted with her and she has begun to understand dogs don't eat her and settle with them on her walks.
Petal is a flower; a tiny Jack Russell who so needs Tender Loving Care and a 'dogs life' in the very best sense of those words. She is appealing and quite calm in the kennel - sitting neatly in her bed and trotting up to the door in hope you will come in for a cuppa or even better take her out for a stroll. Petal will delight any Jack fan ... will truly enamour them!
"Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".
