Charlie, Parson's JRT, DOB 05.05 - Farnham
Homing Requirements: Charlie's family will simply be there for him, after 2 years in kennels, he deserves it easy. Charlie doesn't deserve to have to fit in with other dogs, kids or cats though older children should be fine. A terrier family will 'read' him well, as he communicates very well.
Video: Charlie really is very cute indeed (PS he we have found him to be 6 years old)

His Story: Charlie was surrendered into a Rescue in March 09. His Rescue homed him with an old dog but they didn't gel, then another home with cats which didn't work. We were asked to take him on to find a terrier home. He was much loved and just sitting in kennels, albeit receiving with daily walks. We were delighted to help Charlie. He is neutered, chipped and vax'd.
Advert: Charlie is a real gentleman who will make a family a wonderful companion. He mixes well with the dogs he has been walked with, but he is much more interested in the smells on his walk than canine company. He relates back to his walker constantly. He needs care around traffic as he can get unsettled and we are currently exposing him to cars as part of his walks. Charlie is also slightly precious over his chews so this needs to be respected until he can relax.
Charlie is a bigger Parson's Jack Russell. Beautiful tan and white with a tight wire coat which may be non-moult. He needs a family to share his interests and a secure garden to potter around in on a lazy afternoon. We rate Charlie as an easier terrier. He has such a lovely character, everyone warms to his charming and nonchalant ways.
"Please note that this dog is currently in kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".
